Guest age restrictions


I have a question, but contacting booking support is harder than winning a lottery. The phone lines are always busy, and they don't answer my tickets from many days.

I have age restriction for my guests (min. 21yrs), but recently, a much younger guest came to me from booking.

How booking verify the age of the guest?

How he was able to make a reservation if he didn't fit the requirements?

simple ask for government issued photo id, with time limit, and note to them reservation voided if not provided.


"Dear Guest, as per our policies all guests must provide valid photo ID in advance and must be 21 or older, please provide said ID with in 24 hours or this reservation will be void. Thank you for your co-operation. Kind Regards"


Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods. They will never see any post on the Partner Hub.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
