guest dispute of booking
Guest is claiming he never received his confirmation number from booking.com so he is disputing his charge. Can you send him proof he received it? The confirmation number is *** and his name is *****. The hotel is the Bethesdan Hotel in Bethesda Maryland for an arrival today 6/8.
Can anyone help me on this?

There is no such thing as a confirmation number really as all bookings are auto confirmed upon booking once dates are available.
There is no confirmation number sent by you or us its entirely the BdC system.
All he has to do is logon and see the booking and then turn up with an ID.
So he doesnt even need to know the booking reservation number
He's just making a mountain out of a mole hill,,i.e. much ado about nothing.
Some people are just naturally thick and over think things that dont need to be.
