hi and welcome to the partner forum!

can I just double check if you want to a property or a room/ property layout configuration?

If it is the actual property, you have a legally binding contractual relationship which needs to be undone and you cannot do that via the portal.

If it is a room you want to delete, assuming you have no future bookings, it should be pretty straight forward and you can do the following:

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on Property and then click on Room details or Property layout
  3. Under the room or unit you want to remove, click on Delete
  4. In the popup window, click on OK

GL and let us know how it goes!

There is no option to Delete, it only says ''edit'' under the unit.

So, I did this and the option to delete wasn't there until I updated the bathrooms (on a closed, terminated contract) then I was able to hit delete.  Now Instead of showing the property list with 1 property, I have a page asking me to setup all the details.  I didn't need to delete a room, I need to delete the whole dang property with the associated account number and everything so it stops syncing to my channel manager.  Tell us how to delete the entire property please.  I need it gone so the sync stops.

This I need gone

This, I need THIS GONE!

The same thing happened to me.  As soon as I updated the bathrooms on an old listing of a property I no longer own, the delete button appeared on the original page along with Edit.

Me too! This website is soooo confusing!

I have a property that is no longer available since I SOLD it! In Airbnb you can just click a button to UNLIST and that's it!

Here you have to go through hoops just to make it unbookable temporarily.

Here you have to go through hoops just to make it unbookable temporarily.

To do this simply remove the allotment number. e.g. if you have 3 units available on BDC, change the number to zero within the calendar.

Hi, go to

inbox > booking.com > Account (password, contacts, channel manager, devices, terminate contract) > Account (password, contacts, channel manager, devices, terminate contract) > Terminate contract

This has to be the worst user-friendly website on the internet! They literally do not want you to be able to freely delete your property. The navigation of everything is more than a maze, it's ridiculously ignorant and a waste of time.

The bigger problem here is Why would you want to remove a property from the B.Com portal?

It's simple, Airbnb are far better and easier to deal with!

They simplify everything that B.Com struggle with especially help and payments.

I have two cottages and have simply closed the calendars for B.Com and only take booking through Airbnb, they pay instantly the day after the guest arrives, not 16 days after the guest leaves!! Simples 😀

Come on folks it's not that hard! There are many problems but this is not one of them. Why not follow the post before yours?

Remove property from BDC

Personally, I find it the easiest, it's all perspective of what you're used to. Many prefer the Airbnb site because that is where they started, I used to find that site terrible until I took the time to learn it!

Everything on the Airbnb site takes half the time it does on B.Com, fact !

@Mark

The root of your statement on ease of use becomes clear.

Airbnb was built around serving house-style properties, whereas BDC was built around hotels.

Your statement on payment is, however, bang on.

Snoozing your property listing

To snooze your property, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the extranet.
  2. Click on Property and then on General info
  3. Click on Snooze your listing
  4. Select your reason for snoozing from the drop-down menu and indicate whether you want your property to remain open for bookings beyond the snooze period
  5. Select your snooze start date
  6. If you want your property to remain open for bookings beyond the snooze period, select your snooze end date – if you don’t want your property to remain open for bookings beyond the snooze period, select date when you’d like us to remind you to unsnooze
  7. Check the box to confirm that you’ll honour any upcoming bookings you still have, or click on Contact our support team if you can’t honour

Anyone has any solutions to this? For me my property is still UP! Booking.com is the worst!

I have tried messaging support for this, but they always reply with the same answer which is go to extranet, inbox, chooser terminate contract and wait for confirmation.

I've done it multiple times! And still no real answer to this!

But that link tells you how to terminate your contract....  I don't want to terminate the contract because I have another property on it.  I just want to delete 1 property!  Help!!!
