I changed a reservation
I changed the reservation for upcoming customer. That wanted to extend their stay by one day. Not sure I did it right how do I know. Nothing changed on my calendar.

You have posted this on the partner forum so we cannot help with this. But I would expect your calendar to change if it had worked.
Contact booking.com help team using Inbox icon on Extranet (Option booking.com messages) or give help team a call see link for local phone numbers.

Alternative is to close the room on booking.com for the extra night. Then no commission to pay to booking.com.
If I'm not wrong, only the guest can change a reservation through Booking. They have to do it from their end.

Hi Angella,
That would suggest if you did it right and there is only one way, via the reservation details page, right pane options.
then there is a pending action for the guest in their email inbox.
Message them to check for the amendment, and click the confirm link in it.
@Miguel : yes indeed you are wrong. The option will not always be active depending on a number of factors such as how close it is to the check in date.
