Hello

I wondered how hosts get insurance for renting out rooms (I'm thinking public liability in particular) We have a small cottage attached to the house to let out and have been turned down by our first insurance broker. We live in Ireland so can only avail of this countries insurance industry I think ?

Any advice from fellow partners would be greatly appreciated.

Did you ever have any luck with this Barry? I am just starting out and the same as you I am renting out a couple of rooms in our house. Also in Ireland. Got a few quotes from companies but they are more than I was hoping to pay. Did you get sorted in the end?
