Long threads

Hi! everyone,

When threads are too long I have to scroll all the way down to find the 2,3...page.

Maybe, the 2,3...page could also be at the top of each thread...

I think that would be make search easier...

If you have better solution please share your thoughts....

Cheers!!!

Hi Maria,

Indeed it is quite annoying and a design flaw in todays world of UX (UI design and Experience, and web design).

I would even go as far to call it a rookie mistake not having the "breadcrumbs" as its referred to not in the content pane header.

The content pane is this white container in the middle of the page that contains the topic and tyhe poster info atits header.

It is a rather simple change to the page template ,to simply copy and paste , duplicating the existing under lying page code into the container.

I would position it just under the 'Response Buttons' , i.e. The thumbs up down horizontal area, as an another horizontal area to contain it

My Power Hub forum frustration is with the same host questions being asked again and again, including:

  • How can I remove my property listing, as I have sold my home?
  • When will I receive my first guest payment?
  • What do I do when my guests are "no-shows?"
  • My unique property address does not show on my listing website?
  • How do I set my guestroom rates by the season or holiday?
  • How do I add special services (taxi, city tours, etc.) to my property listing?

I suggest this forum website has a new section of "Frequently Asked Questions," with common answers for Booking, com hosts.

However, I wish to say this Booking, com host forum is much friendlier than Airbnb Host Forum.  A few Airbnb hosts have become that forum website's administrators, who will ban other hosts if they do not agree with their small clique of Airbnb host friends.

Dear Don, yes asking again and again the same questions is annoying...

Some people want others to do the work for them...FAQ and many more topics are very handy if you just search a little...but there is always a but...

I agree with you about this forum being friendly and very helpful...

Being a newbie it has helped me a lot and thanks to Partners I have found solutions to many of my problems and have improved my listing.

Wish you a nice afternoon.
