my booking.com confirmation isnt being honored

I had advance booking thru booking.com for a hotel in Virginia VA, we started our five hour drive with confirmed booking in hand but to our shock, hotel said, they dont have any booking in our name, they rudely said, I must call booking.com which I did for continuous several hours and everytime booking.com just kept us on hold to talk to hotel but nothing positive happened until day passed. It was very frustrating and disappointing experience with booking.com, I will not leave them, I will surely sue them for loss of money, time, plan and everything.

This has also been notified many times and no action taken.....
