No-show without information
Hi,
My property is Shohini's Grace based in Darjeeling, India. Property no ***.
I had a guest due to check in on 10 March reservation number *** but they did not show up. I had sent him several letters to pay in advance with bank details to confirm their bookings. However, I did not receive even an acknowledgement of my letters. I had no means of calling him by phone as the number was not available.
Due to this reservation, my rooms were blocked and I could not take in confirmed requests even when they wanted to pay the full amount for the room.
As he did not come, I have marked him as a no-show and this is reflected in your reservation chart.
I have lost a considerable amount because of this booking.
Will Booking.Com be charging this guest cancellation/ no-show fees. This is not the first time it has happened and I keep losing revenue due to a no-show.
Please urgently let me know what Booking.com's policy is on this matter.

So the simple answer is no, you will never get to recover that booking rate.
BdC will not be chasing the guest for you.
All of this is based on the info you shared, as I noticed you have not added you booking dot com listing link into your profile here for us to view it.

There is only one solution to this , enable all rates as prepaid.
