non-refundable reservation - change of dates
Hi, The guest wants to change non-refundable reservation because they plan changed and the conference was moved to September, both we and the guest agreed to change of dates, so we contacted booking.com customer service, it's now a week and no response, no booking change. Any reason why?

Because of the sheer volume of requests, of course.
Instead agree to block the new dates, and keep the booking as is.
Once day 2 of the original booking comes around mark as no show to prevent cancellation.
But honor the new dates.
Use something like WhatsApp to keep in touch.
