Payment options

How does a host get paid when they don't have the ability to take credit cards? Can we have booking.com deal with payment and pay us?

If this is viable what are booking.com payout options? 

I got my first guest booking but have no idea how the payment was/is arranged. I would rather not deal with handling of any monies.
