Plexiglass sunbeds!!
Hello everyone!!!
A beach bar in Santorini (famous island in Cyclades) has become the first in Greece to install plexiglass around their sunbeds in order to protect beachgoers from coronavirus infection.
Can this be our new way to protect ourselves???

good one ;) but the challenge island nations will have is how to land the tourists - this in my mind is the big question!
Will airlines operate with 30% occupancy to provide the safe distances required? Is this economically viable? What about the fresh air system / air circulation?
Also I think we will end up having something like a Pet Passport for Covid19 - tracks the vaccines!

The travel industry has a huge puzzle to deal with.
My relatives from Canada that visit us every summer they canceled their trip for this year...
I think holidays for this summer is only for the brave ones....
My first thought when I read that was ...
The sunbed will kill them long before Covid19 does, as the picture in my head is of the sun bed with plexi glass curved, which will actually focus the light even more, along with the sunbed lamps burning you.
It sounds quite ironic to me, lol., my Ricky Gervais sense of humor :)
and like Jay pointed out unless you can restrict and control air in side it it would be pointless

The plexiglass is only placed in the sides of the beds...but still with temperatures near to 40 degrees it won’t be easy to stay cool for a long time...
This Summertime will not be like the summertimes we used to enjoy....everybody is afraid and suspicious with everybody and everything...
I prefer isolated beaches but young people are different.
Hope people will find solutions to stay healthy and happy....
