Rate plan for room only

Hi

If I decyphered that right :

"When I remove meal plan option from my Rate Plan, Availability of the associated room is effected".

I am puzlled as to how that can even happen. 

Could it be that under Extranet > Property Menu, and he section for meals you just need to complete the info?
