Reservation

I have a property that I am renting since  en of 2018.

However, I had tried to get support from Booking to correct a long time issue on some fake reservations.

Some unknown users reserve my property for two or more weeks, blocking other real customers to reserve.

when I contacted Booking, they only said that nothing I can do, that I should wait the exact day of the reservation to check the "No Show" option, but I  am losing a lot of opportunity to rent my property from real customers.

Anyone in this chat room has other ideas?  Booking once told me that property owners cannot cancel a reservation.  Only the person that did the reservation can cancel a reservation, even though it is fake.

  • That is incorrect  and misinformation, you always have options it just requires 'thinking outside the box'.
  • The solution is to :
    • Update message template - New Reservation
      • add Prepayment via 3rd party methods
      • define the process
      • add a time limit
        • when it expires you click Request Cancel, then option1.
        • expedite freeing up inventory by phoning Partner support
