Tip Tuesday #17: Attract more long stay bookings with a weekly and monthly rate plan!

Hi Everyone! It’s Tiffany here and I’m back with another Tip Tuesday.

Many partners often tell us how happy they are when receiving longer stay bookings!  A long stay booking can help to increase your property’s occupancy and are a little bit easier to manage as you don’t have to provide a full check in clean every day.

Did you know that one of the best ways to increase your chance of attracting long stay guests is to provide a discounted rate for longer stays at your property?

This can help you secure revenue, reach more guests with attractive long stay rates as well as reducing your operational work.

So what is a long stay?

A long stay reservation is when a guest stays for 7 or more nights and these can fall into 2 different categories:

  • Weekly rates (7 nights or more)
  • Monthly rates (28 nights or more)

We make it easy for you to set up a weekly and monthly rate in the ‘Rate Plans’ page, which is found under the Rates & Availability’ or the ‘Calendar & Pricing’ tab of the Extranet. Check out our step-by-step guide to setting these up!

Have you set up your weekly and monthly rates?
