VAT

We are stuck at the part Booking.com say ate you VAT registered, options yes or yes but not registered for EU transactions. we are neither. We are in France hoping to start a BnB, how do we get a VAT number?

Any help appreciated

  • unless local accountant/revenue office  tell you  to get one you dont need to until you meet the threashold on earnings

  • BdC have been told to fix this royal cock up by adding a third option t othat page 

    •  

      No, I am exempt and do not require a VAT number

       

      Now having said all that typically what you can do is enter your social number with Country Code first followed by the number and letter it has into the VAT number field until such time as you do have one using the Yes only option on the page.
