  2. Did you know that Genius partners get up to 40% more views in our search results? By targeting Genius guests, you not only boost your property’s visibility but you can also increase occupancy, bookings and incremental revenue. You can use the Genius program to provide value and make guests feel good as they need to be eligible to book your property. 
  3. Partners use the Genius program to target longer lead bookings. That’s because Genius guests tend to book further in advance, spend more and are less likely to cancel or provide invalid credit cards.

  • By joining the Genius program, your property will be set apart as you also get an exclusive “Genius” tag and be included in email newsletters.

Do you have what it takes to be a Genius partner? There are 3 criteria to meet to ensure that you are eligible for our Genius Partner Program:

  • The property must be open-bookable and available so that guests can find your property online. Read through this article for a step-by-step guide to loading rates and availability at your property;
  • Have 3 or more reviews. Follow these steps to get more guest reviews.; and 
  • Have a review score of at least 7.5*. You can check your review score in the ‘Guest Reviews’ tab of the Extranet

*Exceptions can be made where the average review score in your city/area is lower than 7.5 and your property’s review score is higher than the average in your city/area.

You can check your eligibility by visiting the Opportunities tab in the Extranet.

It's ridiculous to suggest that giving discounts (using the Genius programme) results in higher quality guests. The only thing Genius does is give owners less money.

It is a pity Booking.com is not generous in reducing their commission to Genius customers, which would share the load.

You can add the property's check-in and check-out times in the Policies sections, found under the Property tab of the Extranet. 

 

In order to add a cleaning fee, you will need to speak to your local office for assistance here. You can reach them by sending them a message in the Inbox tab.
