Asking for help about "minimum stay"! How do I set up a general rule for ALL the bookings?

Hi everyone!

I'm Julien and I've been on Booking.com for some years now with a house in Madeira (Portugal) and soon two new ones coming. As the commission booking.com is taking from the money guests pay, I really can't afford 2 or 3 nights-reservations anymore and I already tried to set up a "min 5 nights stay" rule but I just got a recent booking for 3 nights again...

Does anyone know how to set up that kind of rule for all the bookings?

Hi julien,

 

So first check and set a minimum for each rate plan, consider deactivate,  detach rate plans that are less than 3 nights from room types.

But after you create new rate plans for weekly, monthly,  and 5+ nights. 

 

 


Then in calendar expand each room type, and restrictions,  the field called minimum length of stay, set a value.

 

You can also use the bulk edit tool to do this change enmass for a date range.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
