A guest cancelled a booking through yourselves, but the booking is still on our system, please can you remove it, it will not allow me to remove the booking

Thats is misinformation. 

It can't be both .


Either they have cancelled and you acknowledged it on extranet, or its not cancelled at all.


Go to the detail page for it.

Check the message history.

Then go to right pane, click request cancellation. 

Now choose option 2.

System notifies guest to confirm.

If prepaid once they click link in email , system will process refund and mark it cancelled.


So until that reservation detail page shows status of cancelled,  it is not cancelled.
