Booking X hours before closing time

Hallo! I joint booking not too long ago and have encountered a problem: already several hours before my office closing time (=latest check-in time), my apartment cannot be found in the search results. And if looking for the apartment specifically, then it says "you are too late, it is already booked". So, I guess there must be an option like "x hours of preparation needed" or "cannot be booked X hours before latest check-in time", etc. I have seen one post ("Bookings after closing time") suggesting to go to "Rates & Availability" --> "Calendar" and then, on the left side, is supposed to be an "EDIT" button for 'Minimum advance reservation'. However, I just cannot find it... Don't know if this feature was changed?!?! I would really appreciate if someone could help me solve this riddle! Thanks in advance, Philipp

tip: try avoid blocks of text, use spacing and double <enter key> / carriage returns to space, people tend to not read blocks of text.

 

So it sounds like in calendar list view you do not have the extended fields enabled yet.

 

Simply message or phone support team to enabled all the extended fields for the calendar list view, these include no arrivals, no departures, max stay in nights etc.

As Barry said, if you dont have these features send a message request directly to booking.com through your Extranet inbox tab to add them to your calendar.

I have set all of my booking websites (Booking,com, Airbnb, Expedia, TripAdvisor and FlipKey) not to accept new reservations within two days of the requested arrival date.

 

However, there are rare occasions when I receive a telephone call from a potential guest, asking if they can stay that same night with us.  I sometimes will agree and waive the 48-hour reservation notice.

I rather try to do the opposite (accept everything up to 1h before office closing times). Hope it will work with the unlocked features. Thanks, Don!
