Calendar sync is a known problem - BDC will fob you off with nonsense about it

You can sync, but it will not work all the time. Settings in BDC can change without your input. Do not trust BDC calendar sync. Always manually block all bookings - so if you get a booking on BDC, block on AirBnB, and vice versa.
