Cancel reservation

Hi,

Guest didn't pay mandatory deposit, need to get rid of this reservation, there is no way to cancel it. It used to work but now there are only alerts but can't cancel nor change status not payed, this is ridiculous....

have you already tried this :  

  • Open reservation details page
  • Right pane, choose Request Cancel, 
  • Choose Option ONE.

 

What happens after this point? in detail if you could please.

 

Is the check-in date within the next 48 hours?

 

If none of that working or does apply, then you must phone them.

 


 

Account or action requests,  PartnerSupport will never see these posts.

No action will be taken, contact Partner Support directly.

 

 


 

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

When i click on "Request to cancel reservation" i got overlayer msg "You can cancel a reservation if there is an issue with the payment from the guest or if the guest wants to cancel."

They must be having fun of me doing that !!!!

Reservation is on 1st april.

Then about messaging to booking.com forget it

 i found the way to reach form, but form is broken, no possible to send them anything over email as it used to be in the past, they don't want to bother with their clients anymore...

 

Only to call and spend money on call and waste my time.

I wish they could better shutdown this website not to *** *** *** over and over...

Regardless, the info and steps I gave you above on how to cancel , , means you dont get charged for relocation,  Now has the penny dropped.

 

Stop over thinking it the contact info works , forget about email (or is that you referring to their message system as email??)

 


The full details steps I use to cancel is :

 

  • Open reservation details page  
  • Scroll to bottom message Guest of intent to cancel, and that they must click on the system notification they will receive shortly. Note to them if they prepaid to BdC, then once they click to accept/confirm, the system will start the process to refund them in full - 100%. Its important to just stick to a simple announcement, if needed just say cancelling due to covid19 restrictions / staff unwell.  
  • Right pane, choose Request Cancel,   
  • Choose Option ONE.  
  • Now wait for Guest to click.  
  • System will notify you when its cancelled or you can monitor the reservation list or the reservation details page - status.

Web Form is back working, so i got reply from support already :-) good.

 

About cancel, i think you're pointing me as guest , because in extranet there is no guest of intent to cancel,

There's not working cancel option, and payment status i can change only after checkin time and thats just internal info.

 

I'm saying about guest that is not responding in any way...
