Canceling a booking

I had a booking go through on a date that was already booked through another platform.  How do I get the reservation cancelled on booking.com

Sio if I understand right,

 

on date x/y/z  on another OTA those dates were first booked, then someone via BdC website booked same or overlapping dates.

 

That tells me you did not manually block the dates on the BdC calendar when the first booking was done.

 

Note: Do not rely on iCAL sync when you do not use a Channel Manager.

 

Workaround:

Simply message the BdC booking guest and offer:

1. change of dates

2.immediate cancelation

3. if no response within 12-18 hours, click on cancel. after sending reminder.
