Cancellation policy of my property is set to 14 days before check in free yet a Genius guest who just booked has 1 day before check in free


I am new to the Genius program and although in some ways it does help I have  question. My normal cancellation policy is 14 days before check in free, yet a  Genius guest just booked and he has the right to cancel free up to 1 day before arrival!! I cannot find a glitch in the system Is that a feature genius guests enjoy?

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘ messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
