Check in questions

Hi all,

We have check-in from 14:30 7 days a week but guests keep on asking if its ok to check in at 16:00/17:00 etc. I cant see anywhere where you can turn this off, it is nearly every guest booking and its driving us crazyyyyy!!

hmm, your property > policies sets the time.

 

But if like you said you already have it set to From 14:30, and they ask for 16:00-17:00, there that  should not be an issue as its later in the evening.

 

What exactly are you looking to 'turn off'?

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Its these messages.....

I'd like to request check-in at 17:00 - 18:00 (17 Sept 2021). Is this ok?

Probably 50% ask but our check-in is set from 14:30

Hi!

 

I believe the easiest solution for you is to provide this information upfront, so that guests do not have to ask if you accept late check-ins.

 

One way of doing that is setting up message templates and scheduling them so all your guests receive them before their stay.

 

This way, you could share nice-to-knows - such as a note saying that guests can check-in starting 14:30, and late check-ins are perfectly fine (and maybe that guests do not have to inform you of late checkins - that's up to you)

 

You can set up message templates easily in the 'Messaging preferences' section of your 'Property' tab - or just follow the instructions here:
