Difficulty to sort pricing and bookings out

Have been trying to access booking.com  i eventualy got the username and password sorted yesterday. Now i am struggeling to sort out the pricing. I think that will take a nother 6 months before i can have a booking. Google maps and lekkerslaap booking sites are much easier. And since i can not even contack someone in south africa to sort out this crap. I dont even now if i must keep on struggling with booking.co

as a wise IT guy once said: "Its not the system that is the real issue its the end user not training on how to properly use it is the root cause, as it can only do what its setup to do".

 

At the end of the day you do need to read everything, learn how it actually works, or... get someone more patient and willing to learn it.

If you fail to prepare then you are preparing to fail.

 

 

The Extranet logon is one of the most basic tasks you have to learn as an admin of the property.

So its a sign if you struggle to do that, that perhaps you should consider having someone else do it.

Then have them after they learn it, show you how it all works.

 

Dont be afraid or too proud to ask for help. You cant learn it all in 5 hours, but you can in 5 days... enough to get the nessesities in place.

Please elaborate exactly the percieved issue and then we can make significant progress

 

check out this old video about how the Extranet works fro ma 3rd party, should also help cover alot of the basics, even if the newer UI/UX views of the Extranet look different, or located slightly different , the principles are still the same.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
