Facilities & services settings

I'm really troubled with the Meals section of the Facilities & services settings. It was giving me the run around and I can't give specifics as I tried so many things I lost track where I went.

The question is Do you serve meals? The answer is yes as this is a Bed & Breakfast, so we do serve breakfast. The ONLY way I could get it to accept any entry without having to enter an amount charged for the meals was to say No to the Do you serve meals? question. There is no charge, the breakfasts are included in the price of the room.

If I try to say Yes to the question Do you serve meals? A drop down opens up with the 3 meal types and how much they cost. Since I ONLY serve breakfast why can't I check the check box of Breakfast and at NO cost? This is not allowed.

What should I do to indicate I do serve breakfasts, but not at a charge?

How To:

  1. open rate plan , edit meals, tick only breakfast, as its included.
  2. open facilities 
  3. set meals to yes
  4. tick breakfast, and to right is the indicator its included in rate plan x count
  5. remember this feature is also for pricing on meals when not included in rate.
    1. so you can enable the others if you do meals for lunch/ dinner on request.

  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
