hi there 'booking.com' community. Does any one know how to cancel fake bookings? I had a fake booking on Thursday 18th Feb 2021 - 4 days ago. It was clearly a factious name and address. The phone number was also fake. I do not get access to the credit card details. The dates are booked and blocked in my calendar - and so therefore - with synched calendars - the dates are completely booked on all other platforms - for the entire week.
The help support at booking.com - recognise this is a fake booking - and say they have reported it to the technical team and until they hear back from the tech team - there is nothing they can do.
This must be a common occurrence.
