Friday and Saturday package

Hi there, one question here. If I want to have a special package deal setup for a weekend, how do I do this. I want them to only book Friday and Saturday together. For Friday I can ask for minimal stay of 2 nights, but then someone books on Saturday. How do I make sure this is not possible?

Yes this is very easy to do, an adhoc change and even have it based on  day of the week, and in bulk edit.

So lets go with Bookings for Friday night are X and for Fridays the minimum has to be 2 nights, and you do not want new bookings to be arriving on Saturdays.

 

First start with the AVAILABILITY CALENDAR.

 

Expand the view by room type, and restrictions.

 

so for RoomType A and restriction viewable, you will see minimum length of stay.

 

What you may not have enabled yet is all of these extended fields. Simply message Partner Support to enable them all.

Now you will have new fields like No Arrivals No Depatures.

 

So for our example lets do one week manually without bulk edit in order to understand what it will look like

 

Look at the date rage on timeline ,find Friday, set min. length of stay to 2. and its ad-hoc cost for a that night. Set Saturday - No Arrival to enabled by click., and set the ad-hoc price for that night

To set this for all fridays and saturdays for the remainder of the year.

 

  • So to do this you need to set the date range, then deselct all week days except Friday.

  • Now under Prices, select a  Rate Plan, and set the adhoc price per night.
  •  
  • Then under Restrictions, select the rate plan, then min, length of stay  and set it to 2.
  • Now click Save, and every Friday will be set as this.

 

 

  • Now we need to do similar for Saturday , select rate plan , set price for that night.
  • Under restrictions, this time for rate restriction set No Arrivals to Activate.

  • Click Add More to do for all other rate plans if you need to .
  •  
  • click Save

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
