How do I close a room for certain dates

The easiest way is to close the calender. Go to calender setting, edit room to sell put zero, then it will be blocked. you could select the desire time period
Thats not only confusing to new people but also two different things.
Open / Close Status for a room Type.
and Inventory count per Room Type.
Closing a room type has nothing to do with reducing inventory to 0.
Closing a room type is the better choice over setting inventory to 0, in case you later need to quickly reopen
