I am continuously frustrated by our "partnership" with Booking.com

Our property rating has recently dropped from 9.5 to 9.4 and the difference in this situation is the new guest rating system forced onto us by our "partner."

Guests give us 10 out of 10 ratings for the fixed parameters such as "Staff, Cleanliness Comfort" and others as well as the Additional Categories such as Breakfast and Bed Rating etc. 

The guest then has the opportunity to give an "honest" rating (?) which often contradicts the above mentioned ratings and we end up with an overall rating of 8 or 9. 

Am I the only one with this frustration?

Well we also received scores such as:  

10 (8,7)

10 (9,1)

9 (8,3)

7 (6,6)

So, we're not really frustrated.

We now have 2/10, and this isnt even reflective in the other parts of the reviews the guest left, this new system is heavily flawed and no-one listens or will help

 

Our place is clean, modern, has all the conveniences you'd want, we spend a month a year decorating, updating etc etc... and this, annoyed does not even come close.
