Hello i am new to booking.com. I listed my property. Its not very user friendly rather its a ver complicated site.i dont see any bank details where i can get the payments etc.ts all very confusing.Thinking to delete the app.

It really is in fact the polar opposite of that. 

You just have to take the actual time to read everything, so there are no surprises later.

 

This is not leggo, you have to have some basic knowledge of both what you need to do versus what you want, and where things need to be , learn by doing.

 

You can simply start with the menus above:

  1. Partner Help > Your first steps
  2. Partner Help > working with BdC (booking dot com)
  3. Solutions > All solutions

 

Things you need to think about and make decisions:  

  1. Payment by Guest , Who to, Who collects, Who handles it, How and when do you get a payout
  2. Payment Service gateway providers - If handling payment directly
  3.  Rate Plans 
  4. Room Types , link to Rate Plans.
  5. Calendar, List View, to see values, setting restrictions are applied.

 

Note one common mishap by new partners is not closing the rooms or setting inventory to 0 while still setting up.

 

This will result in unexpected bookings you may not be able to get the guest to cancel.

Clicking my name will reveal all my guides etc.

 

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
