Home for business
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has led to an explosion of people working from home. It already feels as if remote work has become the “new normal”.
Is it possible that renting a property to use during office hours could become a new trend? It may sound crazy to some people, but the world is changing very quickly. Being flexible in marketing your property means finding new guests in new markets. If you want to try this idea out, you definitely need to prepare. Here are a few tips:
- Be creative and inspired. When you think about how to transform your property into an environment for getting things done, it’s reasonable to think business guests would feel inspired when working in an inspirational environment. Think of how you can create such a workspace with minor investments.
- Think “outside” the box. Could you transform your garden into a sustainable, open-air office space? Working outside could be a very attractive alternative to regular old office spaces.
- Think like a (business) guest. If you need to begin work as soon as you enter a new environment, as a business person what things do you absolutely need to be handy and convenient?
Do you think this idea could become the next big thing? Would you like to try it out? Do you already offer a Work-Friendly home where guests can get some work done? What tips would you give to your fellow partners?
