How can I see the old conversations back?

Hi all,

Happy New Year !

I wish to know how to see old conversations with guests? I could not find when I was searching on Extranet box & guest's booking details. This is old booking since March 2020.

Have had this problem as well, my answer from BDC is that they delete old messages. Can't quite remember the cut off date 3 months and older?

Especially under the current circumstances rather frustrating.

Hope that answered your question at least, even it is no real help.

Hope we both get the right answer for this question. I have many bookings to re-check the conversations especially vouchers I sent them via Booking.com message box.

Maybe its better if you call your local BDC office and ask them to support you.

Reminder:

  • You are only addressing Partners in the Partner Hub, and the Community team. There is no BdC Partner Support staff monitoring this.  
  • Never post action requests, nothing will ever happen.  
  • All communications ends 7 days after check out date.  
  • The Message History clears approx 3months after check out date.  
  • Managing your own offers of vouchers or credit , is exactly that you need to keep your own record and not relie on Guest Message system. I would reccomend a caldenr in an email service (gmail.com) or a physicaly yearly diary calendar. and keep a spreadsheet ( in google account or similar)  
  • The spread sheet will act as both a summary, and the easy way to move and changes dates compared to the other options.

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Oh by the way, I think message copies would also be in your email inbox too, so they don't get deleted unless you did

I usually delete email messages....too many...but from now on I will not delete them...at least the ones from guests...
