How do I cancel a booking of a guest

I am the owner of the apartment how do I cancel a future booking so I can give the guest notice.

Hi Mandy,


Reminder: if you use BdC Partner Support to Cancel a booking and the Guest does not want to BdC will and can relocate them and then issue you a relocation invoice.


So with that said the better option is to communicate directly with the Guest to notify them first of the intent, but limit it to the point and don't overshare.


e.g. - setting it up as a message template  also makes it reusable.

Hi <guest> , unfortunately due to COVID restrictions I will have to cancel your booking. You will shortly receive a notification from Booking system of the cancellation.  Any Prepaid rate is then fully refunded , once you click the confirm.

Thanks for your understanding.


Now once message sent:

  • Open the reservation detail page,
  • Right Pane, Click Request Cancelation
  • Choose option 2 and submit , then wait for status to update once the Guest does their action required.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘ messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
