how do I charge extra for extras?

I offer my guests the option of paying for parking ahead of time. It isn't included in the price because we are in the town centre and a number of people do not arrive with a car so they don't want to pay for parking. Does anyone know how I can set it up so that I can charge people who want parking and add it as an extra to the bill?

Hi Charlie,


So think of it like this , 2 types of fee:


  1. mandatory
    1. set in the Property menu > Policies > additional fees > X Per stay
    2. This then appears in the checkout and is inclusive of the commissionable total.  
  2. optional services
    1. typically these need t obe take directly from the guest , either prepaid or on arrival.


Based on the parking fee , if requested, then you would need to handle that directly, e.g. send a payment link, IBAN for transfer, a money transfer app, tranfer website pay link etc..



Reminder: Never post action requests, will never be seen nor actioned.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘ messages’.

  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Thank you for the response, its a shame it isn't as easy/flexible as Airbnb to add extras but I suppose Booking has its reasons.
