How do you clean your property to prevent contagious desease?

Hi everyone.

Just curious:  How do you clean your property after people come in sick? Or how do you clean preventatively? (thinking heavy couphing-sneezing- sweating).

Greetings,

I use a special desinfection cleaner that I dilute into cleaning water.

Bedding I clean every time anyway  and hang them in the sun when possible since one can not wash everything on very high temperature.

Woolen blankets   Bed spreads   out in the sun ! If not possible: spot spray with a little bit of diluted antimicrobial essential oil.

And hang out to dry.

Very informative is : wellgal.com

All about essential oils and how to use them .

Cleaning doorhandles with it too. Pots pans and  cups !

A good wash and rinse after .

I know  ... a lot of work but worth it .

Welcome to a nicely fragrant guesthouse / hotel - for a safe and healthy stay!

All natural :)

Many greetings

Dear Aaltje,

Thanks for posting tips to keep our house clean and  healthy.  Coronavirus is here!!!

Get Some Fresh Air...

My mom, when somebody was sick in the house, every morning she opened  the windows to let fresh air in....

I do the same think every morning, no matter how cold the weather is... Sometimes I even open the windows before going to sleep...

The fresh air will help clear out the stale, dry air that is lingering around the house.

White Vinegar...

White vinegar...best friend.... always beside my dish detergent.

I spray everything with vinegar...my kitchen, my bedroom, my bathroom, my floors, my carpets, my windows.

I use vinegar in rinsng my hair, even in cleaning my dog....

The acetic acid in the vinegar kills many harmful pathogens.

Wish you all well.

I know ....open windows, best remedy, even in winter, just 10 minutes. Nowadays with super insolated places, people forget about fresh air.

And the vinegar, yes!

Then go for your room diffuser. Very fragrant and inviting too, apart from functional.

Be careful with pets though. If you buy the "cheap"stuff it could even be toxic.

Small amounts is best.

Follow instructions as you can read about them online.

Cheery,
