I received an email from a customer advising she had been booked into our bed and breakfast. But we had no vacancies
We had a cancellation for a 2 weeks booking and within a few minutes the room had been booked for shorter periods. I received an email from a customer advising she ha been booked in but I had not received a confirmation of this and she was not one of those booked into the room. The ladies PA advised she had booked and paid plus had a confirmation from booking.com, I had no booking number or confirmation and her dates did not match anything I already have booked? Do I have a responsibility to the customer please?
