Minimum advance reservation counting from when?
Hi all,
We have set a minimum advance reservation restriction of 4 Hours. Assuming that the 4 hours count before check-in closing time. Our check-in times are 4PM-7PM. 7PM-4 = 3PM so we don't expect same day bookings after 3PM.
However, yesterday we received a last-minute reservation 5:38 PM. That shouldn't be possible but looking into the help pages I cannot find a definition from where they start counting the minimum advance reservation time.
Turned out that it was even possible to book a room at our place at 8PM which is an hour after the latest check-in.
What do I have to setup to avoid same day bookings after 3-PM?

I think you should email the help team to get an exactly definition. I can see your logic but maybe that's not how the system sees it. Use the Inbox button on Extranet to find out.

Hi Margo,
I got a response but only that the guests had booked a special deal and apparently general settings like check-in don't count with special deals. You have to set everything for every deal.
On the other hand at the time of posting this question there was a huge delay between the actual reservation time of the guest and the time the accommodation received the booking. I got a reservation around midnight for the following day, actual booking time of guest was 4 PM.
I posted the question in another group and was told that they counting from midnight. But no confirmation of this from booking.

To limite the latest booking moment to 3 p.m., to my understanding, need to set restriction to 9H.
