modifying a booking - change the room

Hi, I have a client booked into a room upstairs, but want to move them to an downstairs room. All our rooms are different and have different names. How do i do this? I asked the client to cancel and rebook. Is that the only way?

You can amend booking for them. Or if both room are under same rate, then you can simply take note on your rsvn system.


Hi I have a guest who booked a single room and then about a month later made a change to booking (did not cancel the single room - modified the booking) and changed to a double room - on the updated booking there was an extra £11 added to the single room rate but my double room rate is £20 more than single room rate so I am not getting the double room rate I am getting £16 under the double rate?? not sure how this occured but emaild Booking.com 3 times and no responce - !!! - So do I ask guest to cancel and rebook ??
