Although guest *** *** *** *** give a full score on all of the boxes the total score shows only a 9  instead of 10.  This is just so important to me and I please request that you can look into this matter and correct for me.  Thank you.  Your guesthouse owner and partner with Booking.com  Elsabe Kuypers

Hope you are well. 


Since late 2019, the review score is no longer the average of the ratings the guest gave for each specific categories.


Since the change, guests can select an overall score from 1 to 10 to rate their experience at the property. The average of these overall scores becomes your Guest Review Score, which is displayed to future guests. 


Guests are also still asked to rate your property in six specific categories, however these ratings are optional and they do not count towards your Guest Review Score.

Do guests completely understand how the New Review System works???

Has BDC provided them with explanatory details for the recent changes???


Even if BDC has given all information needed for New Review System ...I think that a further reminder should be added each time the review  email  is end to guests...


Some of my guests have told me that they have chosen my property only by reading my excellent reviews!!!


Reviews are not only important for us hosts but mostly for the future hosts...so they can find the best accommodation that suits them...


Together we can find best solutions for the benefit of all of us ?
