no rooms for sale but guests can still book

How come that guests can book a room and we have been closed since last September We need a phonenumber in Iceland please. They dont answer the phone

If you made the mistake of listing on 2 or more OTA, and are not using a Channel Manager this will happen.

 


If needed, Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods.

 

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport ***

 

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Hello!

Yes please give Booking.com a call to investigate. I would also quickly jump onto the extranet to check for the entire year, ensuring it's really closed out (must be red on the calendar, green means you're still selling). If your bookings are far in advance, I would also quickly get in touch with the Guests to inform them, hopefully they are happy to cancel on their end and put your conversation in writing (messaging between your property and Guest).
