Over booking

I am getting overbooked on many occassions how do i stop this.

Overbookings are usually cause by listing on more than one OTA, and not using a Channel Manager tool (3rd party).


Some are free for starter plan, some paid for with different monthly tiers.; cloudbeds; beds24 etc.


google channel manager and you will find a lot more than those.


The root cause is the iCAl sync is limited and will not trigger a sync in real time.

So if a booking occurs on either OTA in between sync, it causes double booking/overbooking.


a CM service is better as it acts as both master gold calendar copy, and sync manager.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘ messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
