Message the guest and apologise and tell them they need to cancel.  Maybe look at some alternatives you can suggest to them.  Then follow this process

  • Extranet
  • Reservations
  • Reservations Details Page
  • Right Pane, Request To Cancel
  • Choose option 2, submit
  • Wait for guest to receive email with action to confirm

If you ask booking.com to relocate them they will charge you a fee.
