A review

I am very annoyed with a review sent to me from a client that never even stayed in my apartment , I had informed booking.com that I had an issue with the bookings and that I don’t take immediate bookings . to allow someone to give you a 1 and to say 0 to cleanness and all others  when they never even entered the property is not correct

I would like a representative of booking.com to get in touch with me and explain to me how something like that is allowed , if you look at my reviews they are all amazing many 10’s so this is not normal 

booking.com will have to contact me by email as my phone number on record is not available at the moment as I am out of the country

  1. No one will be contacting you as a result of posting this.  
  2. Automatic bookings are what you agreed to when you registered, (even if you did not bother to read anything in full nor watch the How It Works Video), it still applies.  
  3. Its your responsibility to manage the availability calendar and its configuration along with any attempted OTA 2 OTA sync and or Channel Manager.  
  4. While we all would like to have a screening option , its just not a realistic expectation to have. Having said that there are technically features you could leverage in such a way to void a booking you  dont want. Its all about being smart about it.  
  5. Piss Poor Reviews aka Lazy Review, Revenge Reviews ...Yes this are simply a part of doing business on any OTA. Different guest for different reasons will do this. Others just not tech savvy and dont make an effort incorrectly move the rating sliders. We have seen it all reported on here. So nothing new about any of it. However a guest who has not stayed and you didnt or did mark it as a no-show on day after arrival date, cannot be able to or allowed to rate review, so yes do report that to Partner Support.

 

Your next action is to message BdC Partner Support, and report the No-Show and the illegal review, they should simply remove it.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
