1.How do I claim damages if caused by careless guests.

2. How do I indemnify myself in case of accidents ? Do you have a standard indemnity that they can agree to?

Hi Martin

Welcome to the Partner Only  Forum, addressing only us not BdC support team.

Posting something like this will not result in any action at all.

So the simple answer is you need a way to collect directly a charge or deposit.

So if you operate at or near the property you can go directly for check in or after to collect a direct damage deposit.

BdC will never collect a deposit.

If you have a Payment Gatewat Provider such as : https://sumup.ie/bookingie/

You can request from them a Virtual terminal for taking remote payments

By enabling deposit required in Policies, if a new booking fails to follow your steps in the new reservation Autom Message Template, with in x hours or x days , then you can freely cancel it.

If you can check the property on day of check out then you can bill them directly for damage.

2. indemnify myself in case of accidents

This simple answer is you might not be able to do that, and should consult local law, or insurance company.

Of course you can simple google foe a poster or content to print on a poster, in every room applied and insert it into the new booking message template too.

Kind Regards,
