Hi, I'm new here. And I', from Suriname (a country in South-America).

I have a question. I'm receiving a lot of people who are booking but not showing up. I have a feeling that they are using the booking information to get a visa or permit to stay in the country. How do I filter who can book my accommodation or get money from them if they don't show? I am not able to bill them if they don't show.

I used to do cash only payments and had exactly the same problem with no shows.  Unfortunately that means you cannot collect any money from them as you don't have their card details.  Fortunately booking.com started processing payments for the country I am in and it has had a huge difference.  Haven't had a no show since.  I would make sure you mark reservations when there is a no show so that you don't get charged commission by booking.com
