I have set my property up to host and I seemed to have missed a step where the payments are done. I have bookings made and had to chase up two of them for payments and don't want to do it this way?

as a new listing, by default there is only payment to you by default.

 

i.e. no one will be collecting payment on your behalf.

 

So you must add the payment methods and options, time limit min 24h after booking placed to receive;

to the auto message template for new reservations.

 

or sign up for Online Payments

or Payments by Booking ( its all done by BdC).

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
