Dear Елена Кондратьева, thanks for sharing in the Community. Are you tying to register as a new partner? What are you tying to do? I'd like to help you as much as I can and inform you once I hear from you more specific information on what you need. Hope all is well these days.

Dear Елена Кондратьева, thank you for sharing your question. Because of the war in Ukraine, we have decided at the end of February to not only declare Force Majeure for all existing customer reservations, but also suspend the onboarding of new partners to our platform.

At Booking.com we are deeply committed to the safety of our customers, which was the reason why we decided to temporarily stop New Partners in Ukraine from joining Booking.com.

Why did you choose to do this? This has a very bad effect on people who are inside Ukraine and need temporary housing. I have a place in which we are ready to shelter people, but how should we convey to people about our existence. Please return the opportunity to register an object to hosts from Ukraine. People from other countries will not come here soon. And people inside Ukraine are in deep need of temporary housing.

Dear Віталій Басараб, hope you're well these days. I totally understand and thank you very much for sharing your thoughts and willingness to help. I'd like to kindly share this Booking.com initiative with you where our partners in Ukraine and some other countries can support refugees by offering them a place to stay for free or at a significantly reduced rate. Of course, Booking.com will waive our commission fee for these reservations. I hope that this is a little bit helpful for now.

It's good that booking has come up with tariffs for Ukrainians and helps in finding free or almost free housing. But the company's decision to suspend the registration of new partners is still strange. Moreover, it is still possible to register as a partner in the occupied territories of Ukraine (Crimea) and Georgia (Abkhazia). Please return the possibility of registration. This will help both the refugees and the economy of our country.
