URGENT! cancel booking required for tomorrow
Hi,
Booking.com calendar has not properly synced with Airbnb calendar and now I have a double booking. I can see Airbnb synced 20 minutes ago. Theis a problem your end - URGENT!
I need a phone number speak someone - why do you make it so hard? Please supply a phone number! Please me ASAP ***

You will need to log in to your Extranet and send a message to Booking.com support, telling them to cancel the booking and explain that this was caused by their faulty calendar sync. You will have a battle on your hands because, although this is a well known problem with Booking.com calendar sync, Booking.com refuse to accept that there is any problem with it.
Also, contact the guest and explain that Booking.com calendar sync is faulty and that they need to cancel the booking. It is something they must do from their Booking.com account.
Thanks so much for your comment. Just so you know, yesterday when I went into the calendar to make some changes, I noticed that Booking.com had blocked out over four years of all three of my calendars. It took me a couple of hours to sort it out. I have now snoozed Booking.com. The calendars issues cause too much stress!

on the Topic of Calendar syncing with other OTA and vice versa, it has been talked to death on here to not use it.
You cannot be awake 24/7 to see a new booking and then manually block on the other OTA.
The correct solution is to use a 3rd party Channel Manager where it will govern each OTA calendar and prevent this. Some are free others minimal cost depending on pricing model.

I have decided to give Booking.com a miss for the moment, the calendar issues are far too stressful, especially after I noticed yesterday they had blocked out over four years on my calendars starting today!
