Searching threads

Hello guys!

Sometimes I  want to find a thread that interests me but I don’t remember the title but I remember who wrote it or who commented.

When I enter Partner name in search I cannot always  find it.

Which is the best way to search???

Your advice is highly appreciated.

Thanks and have a wonderful day...

I think you might be hitting a brick wall there!

Search is most definitely knackered, I think the technical term is much ruder! Even on my own profile I cannot see my own "comments", only a short list of "posts".

To find another partner you need a find a post by him/her and use their nom de plume from there BUT, again you cannot see their comments, only posts (i.e. only their most recent thread starting posts).

Catch 22!

You need a post to find another post but their profile can't find a post. Ha!

fluff .... If I click on your name and scroll down your profile, I see "My Posts" and "My Comments" tabs .... and although there are a lot of comments, it doesn't say what topic or anything they were posted in .... there is a Reply button there that when clicked, opens a reply box ..... and if I type in a reply and click Save, it doesn't allow it ....

I guess this is another thing that Booking.com's website developer needs to fix when he gets home from school .....

Thanks fluff for posting!!!

I am a newbie and all this is very confusing for me.

This forum needs a strong constructor builder...

For the time being I will be using this big nice inbox... Hope I don’t miss someone’s reply.

Thanks fluff again for supporting me and have a nice day..

Isle your comments are very helpful.

Maybe BDC can fix this forum so we can find our way easily and help each other.

Thanks for your feedback and have a splendid day...

@Isle of Wight …If you try that on your own profile, the Comments button does not work.

.....in fact it it only works erratically on another members profile too, I just tried yours and it worked, then become non-functional again.

Bzzzzzz, chirp chirp, ....... bugs!

When I did the reply from "My Comments" on your profile, and it didn't seem to work, so I did it a couple more times. I then discovered that my reply had appeared in this thread 3 times.

I have now just received an email from Booking.com saying " We removed your post because it was either in an unsupported language or it was classified as spam. Posts that have irrelevant, incoherent, duplicated content qualify as spam. And we don’t share posts in unsupported languages as we aim to create a community where everyone can understand each other. If you’d like more information about this, feel free to read through the Partner Community community guidelines. These are intended to create a safe and welcoming space for partners all around the world."

So .... because of a deficiency in the Partner Community programming, we can unwittingly be classed as spammers .....
